A Dundee road was closed by police after a house went up in flames on Tuesday evening.
Firefighters spent an hour tackling the blaze at a property on Balbeggie Terrace after being called to the incident at about 8.10pm.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We were at a fire on Balbeggie Terrace. It was a house fire.
“We had three appliances at the scene – two from the Kingsway and one from Balmossie.
“We had two breathing apparatus (BA) and one house reel just in use. We then increased that to four BA and two hose reel jets.
“We were called out at 8.12pm. The stop message came in at 9.09pm.”
There were no reports of any casualties or rescues.
On Tuesday evening, Tayside Police Division warned residents to avoid the area.
A spokesman for the force said officers were called to the scene at 9.20pm to assist with traffic management. He added the fire does not appear to have been suspicious.
A police statement issued on Tuesday night, read: “Scottish Fire and Rescue along with Police Scotland are currently on scene dealing with a Fire at Balbeggie Terrace, Dundee.
“The road as a result is currently closed and you are asked to please avoid the area.”
