A Dundee sheltered housing lounge could be in line for a £40,000 upgrade.
Improvement works for the facility at Alva Square are to be considered by Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee on Monday April 25.
The work would be carried out by Dundee Contract Services and includes improvements to toilet and laundry areas, as well as electrical works to the communal lounge.
Neighbourhood services convener councillor John Alexander said: “I am certain that these improvements will make a difference for the residents.
“Our lounges are vital places for older people across Dundee and play a part in improving mental and physical wellbeing.”
