A 38-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after a hit and run in Monifieth.
A car attempting to reverse in Milton Park at around 2.30am on Monday morning knocked the woman to the ground before driving off.
Another car parked in the street was later found to have some fresh damage and police believe the same car was responsible.
The car is a small Volkswagen, either a Polo or Golf, possibly grey in colour, and has an 02 registration number.
The woman believes at least two people were in the car at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “While it is unlikely given the time of night and location that anyone has witnessed this incident take place, we would be interested to hear from anyone who saw a VW Polo or Golf being driven poorly around the Monifieth and Broughty Ferry area on Sunday night into Monday morning.
