Police are attempting to trace two youngsters who came to the aid of a woman following a robbery on a Dundee path.
The 38-year-old was attacked and robbed by a man on the footway leading to the Tesco Extra on South Road on Tuesday, July 28, at about 2pm.
He threatened her, stole a mobile phone and money, and ran off in the direction of Dee Gardens.
Police say two young women, aged about 16, came to the assistance of the victim and could be valuable witnesses.
They are described as white and with long, black hair. They were wearing black tops and skirts at the time.
Detective Constable Kirsty Sturrock of Dundee CID said: “We are keen to speak to these women as we believe they may have vital information that could assist our investigation in relation to this incident.
“I would appeal to the women, or anyone who has any information in relation to this incident, to please get in touch.”
The thief was described as white, thin, with brown hair and a clean-shaven face. He was wearing glasses, a green jacket and jeans at the time of the robbery.
