B&Q in Dundee suddenly closed this afternoon after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19. Customers were ushered out of the store, on Kings Cross Road, early in the afternoon and the doors remained shut for the rest of the day. A sign on the door suggests the hardware shop will reopen tomorrow. The building was deep cleaned after the doors were closed. A B&Q spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that our Dundee store is temporarily closed following a team member receiving a positive Covid-19 test result. “Closing the store for deep cleaning is a precautionary measure and goes beyond government advice.”
