A 38-year-old man was pushed to ground and subjected to a “serious assault” by three other men on a Dundee street earlier this month.
Police are appealing for information following the attack on Craigmount Terrace around 7.30pm on Friday, 18 September.
The victim was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesman said one of the male suspects was wearing a grey hooded top and had a black backpack and the other two males were wearing black clothing.
Detective constable Steven Rae, of Dundee CID, said: “We have been conducting enquiries since the incident was reported and we are now appealing for witness to assist with our investigation.
“The suspects are believed to have been with a large group of males and females who were in the area around the time of the incident.
“Anyone with any information should contact police,” he added.
