A Fintry schoolboy will line up alongside the Galacticos of Real Madrid when they take on Manchester City in tonight’s Champion’s League semi-final.
Eighty-year-old Bailey Robertson will be a mascot at the game in the Etihad Stadium after his uncle won a Mastercard competition.
Bailey, who is a Dundee United fan, will not know what player he walks out with until just before kick-off but is hoping it is Cristiano Ronaldo, one of his favourite players.
His dad Jimmy, 34, said: “Bailey was pretty quiet at first as I don’t think it had sunk in when we told him.
“But when he went to football training that night and told all his pals, he hasn’t stopped talking about it since.”
Jimmy added: “He really loves three players – Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo, and he’s delighted he will get the chance to see one of them.”
