Food waste from Dundee and Angus College training kitchens is now being put to good use by the horticulture department. The waste is put through a process called de-watering, and the resultant dry product is then converted in to compost. The composter has been nicknamed “The Rocket” by the college and produces 12 bags of compost per week.
