A Dundee dog walker is being hunted by police after he attacked another pet owner following an incident involving their animals.
The 20-year-old victim was walking his own dog on Fleuchar Street when it was attacked by a white terrier. The dog then turned on the man, biting him on the hand.
Immediately afterwards, the terrier’s owner allegedly assaulted the complainer by punching him and knocking him to the ground.
The 20-year-old suffered injuries to his hand from the dog attack and to his head from the assault.
The owner of the terrier is described as a white male, about 25 years old and 6ft tall, with long brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a dark bomber jacket and jeans.
The incident took place at 9.30pm and anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact police.
