The Big Wheel in Slessor Gardens is set to return this Christmas.
Thrill-seekers keen to have a night-time ride on the big wheel at Slessor Gardens at the Dundee waterfront were left disappointed after it broke down on Tuesday evening.
People had waited in long queues but organisers told them just before 7pm that the wheel would have to close for what appeared to be electrical problems.
The wheel was due to close at 8pm.
Earlier in the day, the ride’s opening was delayed after operators forgot to switch off part of the attraction, leaving it drained of power.
After a quick recharge, it was back in motion by 1pm.
