Leading EU referendum campaigners are coming to Dundee to debate the issues surrounding Britain’s place in Europe.
Braden Davy, assistant director of Vote Leave, will be joined by NUS Scotland president Vonnie Sandlan, Mev Brown from Business for Britain and Professor Sir Pete Downes, vice-chancellor and principal of Dundee University, at the event on Friday.
The debate is the latest in a series of political events organised by the university’s student association, DUSA.
DUSA vice-president of communications and campaigns Dominic Younger, said: “With over 8% of our current students originating from EU countries outside of the UK, the EU referendum is a crucial decision for our campus.
“Home and rUK students will also be adversely affected by the turmoil of a Brexit and thus we need to give our students the opportunity to hear the facts for themselves once and for all.”
All are welcome to attend the free event, which begins at 7pm in the university’s D’Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre.
