The secret lives of bats will be exposed next week on a nocturnal trip around one of the city’s parks.
A chance to see and hear bats in their natural habitat and learn more about them is on offer at the Camperdown Bat Walk.
Kevin Cordell vice convener of Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee said: “This is a great chance to see some unusual and misunderstood wildlife.
“Because they only come out at night, bats often get a bad reputation but that is so undeserved for such an interesting and endearing part of our native wildlife.”
Booking is essential for this popular event which costs £3.70 for adults, £3.20 for concessions and £12.50 for a family of two adults and two children.
The walk takes place on May 13 at 8pm and lasts for two hours. To book or for further information phone 01382 431848.
