Lucky shoppers on the Perth Road are in line for a bargain, after over £21,000 worth of dresses was donated to a charity shop.
Staff at Shelter Scotland’s Dundee shop said that they were still “in shock” at the haul of designer dresses they were handed, some with price tags still on them showing an original selling price of £295.
The dresses are now on sale in the shop for £30 each, a reduction of almost 90% from the original price.
A number of other items were also donated to the store- with a collection of knitwear, skirts, jeans and jackets handed over.
The dresses and clothing items were donated by Prego Boutique in Broughty Ferry, whose owner Liza Sinclair chose to donate to Shelter after hearing about the work the charity do in the community.
