Two Dundee businesses triumphed in Scotland’s independent retail awards.
Genio Tech, an IT and mobile phone repair centre on the Hilltown, took home the Technology Retailer of the Year prize at the glamorous event in Glasgow.
Meanwhile Strachan’s Tyres claimed the award for Auto Garage of the Year.
Creator and owner of the garage, Sean Strachan, said he was delighted with the result.
“I’m over the moon with the award and feel like I have my business moving in the right direction,” he said.
“Just remember Dundee, we love this city.”

The annual event, now in its fifth year, was hosted by radio personality Gina McKie at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday night.
The awards are voted for by the public to highlight the value of independent retailers.
