The owner of a Dundee restaurant has said he has been forced to hire a security guard after his business was repeatedly targeted by thieves. Nethergate restaurant Oshibori has been hit by thieves twice in the past six weeks and its gate was damaged in another incident. Oshibori on Nethergate. Owner Usman Malik claims he is £4,000 out of pocket and has had to hire a night watchman to protect his premises. He said he was “frustrated” the police have not found the perpetrators of any of the incidents, despite taking fingerprints and viewing CCTV. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said inquiries are ongoing.
