Dundonians are being asked to get involved in a new interactive project paying tribute to the Law.
As part of the Lottery funded Law Heritage Project, local company MTC Media has been commissioned to produce a website which will pull together the touching stories and special moments enjoyed by locals while climbing the Law.
The firm wants people to provide memories and pictures, not just of visits to the Law, but also places in Dundee that can be seen from the city’s high point.
Vari McDonald, depute convener of Dundee City Council’s neighbourhood services committee, said: “Someplace as well loved and prominent, both physically and as a feature of our lives, as the Law deserves a first class presence on the internet.
“This project will give it that and showcase not only the heritage of the Law, but the digital media talent in Dundee which is recognised across the world.”
The website will explain the creation of the Law, its history of settlement and use, the view of the city and the Dundee to Newtyle railway, including the tunnel.
