Dundee-born musical director Marc McBride is set to return to Courier Country for the Glamis Prom this summer.
The former Grove Academy pupil is due to conduct the British Sinfonietta Orchestra at the outdoor spectacular, which will takes place on July 16.
Marc went on to read law at Dundee University before studying at The Royal Academy of Music.
He graduated with distinction and now divides his time between London and the USA.
Marc said: “I am so excited to be coming back to Scotland to conduct such a prestigious and historic event in front of friends, family – and my granny!
“Film scores are so much fun to conduct and the incredible British Sinfonietta are one of the best session orchestras around. I can’t wait!”
Marc will join the star-studded cast which also includes Arbroath-born west end star Norman Bowman, who wowed the audience in 2015 and has been brought back by popular demand.
The Glamis line-up also features soul songstress Mica Paris, classical album toppers Richard and Adam, and Glasgow vocalist Melanie Masson.
This year’s show will feature a medley of classic hits from the silver screen.
Glamis Prom will take place in the grounds of Glamis castle, home to Earl and Countess of Strathmore, and will include a range of food and drinks to complement the musical extravaganza.
