A man has been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Dundee.
Police began searching the property at Clyde Place in Menzieshill on Monday.
Nearby residents said the rented property had been on “lockdown” since their arrival.
Large bags of evidence were visible on the patio at the rear of the property, along with tubing and a large light.
One neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: “There were police there all night and the man was taken away in handcuffs.
“The curtains had never been opened since he moved in.”
Another resident said: “There have been so many police here. It was total lockdown.
“It’s rented out by an old guy but the police have torn it apart.”
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 28-year-old man has been detained after what is understood to be cannabis plants were found at an address in Clyde Place. Enquiries are ongoing.”
