A North East MSP has tabled a parliamentary motion to praise the Asda Foundation for stepping in to save the closure-threatened Young Addaction Dundee project.
Scottish Conservative Liam Kerr is urging his fellow MSPs to join him in recognising the good work that the Dundee charity has done in the local area to tackle drug and alcohol problems.
The Asda Foundation is providing £52,832 to let staff at Young Addaction Dundee continue that work with local schools, health services, community clubs and police.
Mr Kerr’s said: “I hope to receive cross party support for this motion recognising both the great work done by Young Addaction Dundee in reaching out to young people across the city.”
