The emergency services rushed to the first-floor property on Banchory Road just before 9am after reports of a fire in a bedroom. Nobody is believed to have been injured as a result of the incident. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We had three appliances out and they finished up shortly after 10.30. “There were no casualties and one person was led to safety.”
