A jetskier has been rescued by lifeboat crew after getting into difficulties off Dundee Port.
The man contacted family to notify them he was having mechanical problems, and they in turn contacted emergency services.
The rescue operation, which occurred on Sunday afternoon, was led by the Coastguard and involved Broughty Ferry lifeboat crew.
The lifeboat was launched at 2.11pm with the assistance of a volunteer shore crew, reaching the powerless jetski promptly, which had drifted between both bridges.
The jetskier was transferred on to the lifeboat where he was assessed and found to be in good condition. A towline was attached to the jetski with one of the volunteer crew manning it.
The lifeboat towed the jetski to Broughty Ferry harbour where the man was transferred to shore and met by the coastguard.
