A Dundee club which has been lying empty since it was damaged by flooding has become a target for vandals and attempted break-ins.
Discarded knives and makeshift ramps were found at Fairfield Sports and Social Club, while one of the building’s entrances has been extensively damaged.
Club manager Andy Bell said the back entrance was damaged and a large knife was found wedged into the door frame.
The incident is now being investigated by the police.
He said: “The club has been targeted by vandals twice over the weekend.
“On Thursday, knives were found and there were also bike ramps on the roof of the building.
“The door of the club was also damaged — there was a big knife wedged into the frame of the door.
“I’m certain people are trying to break into the club.”
On January 7, the club was flooded leaving it extensively damaged, and it was forced to close.
Since then, six people involved with the club have been out of work.
Mr Bell, 33, has been critical of what he described as a lack of action to repair the building.
The roof of the building, which is in need of repairs, is the responsibilty of Dundee City Council, according to Mr Bell.
A spokesman for Dundee City Council said: “We are continuing to try to resolve a number of outstanding issues with representatives of the hub and its professional advisers so the work that needs to be done can be carried out.”
Anyone with information about the vandalism or attempted break-in is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.
