Military veterans are being sought to join a sailing expedition around Britain.
The Spirit of Falmouth set sail from Cornwall earlier this month, and is due to pass by Fife and the Tay estuary on its way up the east coast today.
However, organisers are still seeking three veterans to join the ship for a section between Glasgow and Liverpool between July 10 and 21.
The crew has already clocked up more than 900 miles so far.
A total of 38 veterans are taking part in the epic voyage for the complete expedition or shorter sections of the route.
Turn to Starboard founder Shaun Pascoe said: “The aim of the Round Britain Challenge is to help participants re-engage, reintegrate and gain new skills.
“Some of our crew will be gaining valuable sailing miles as part of their training for Yachtmaster qualifications, whereas others have set themselves a personal challenge as they battle with their own issues after service life.
“We are looking for three veterans affected by military operations to join us in a supportive environment from Greenock to Liverpool. Sailing experience is not required as guidance will be given by our highly skilled crew.”
The team are living, sleeping and working on board the 92ft boat, donated by the Princes Trust, throughout the 2000-mile expedition.
