British astronaut Tim Peake has been given an unusual invitation to visit Dundee.
A hilarious video featuring a man wearing a Tim Peake mask visiting every statue on the Bucket Trail has been posted online as part of a campaign to convince Major Peake to visit the Oor Will Bucket Trail.
Perth PR firm Volpa sponsored the Astro Wullie statue on the trail, the design of which was inspired by Major Peake’s trip to outer space.
They then created the video in the hope it captures the attention of the astronaut, who is a keen user of social media.
Major Peake spent six months on board the International Space Station and was the first British astronaut to do a spacewalk.
He landed in Kazakhstan earlier this month.
The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail is raising funds for The Archie Foundation.
Fifty-five Wullies have been installed around Dundee.
