Ground-breaking cancer research being carried out in Dundee went under the public microscope on Saturday.
Dundee University’s Division of Cancer Research held an open day at the Jacqui Wood Cancer Centre in Ninewells Hospital.
The event included demonstrations, laboratory tours and talkes from cancer researchers.
Senior lecturer Dr Colin Henderson said: “We are delighted to open our doors to the public and to give local people the opportunity to experience a flavour of the world-leading research that we carry out in the Division of Cancer Research.”
It was the first ever open day held at the centre.
