Two cars have been involved in a crash on a busy Dundee road, causing traffic delays.
Those inside the vehicles – a white Vauxhall Adam and a green Fiat Panda – escaped without injuries, police confirmed.
The emergency services rushed to the scene on Broughty Ferry Road at around 2.45pm.
A taxi driver who was caught up in the tailbacks said: “I was dropping a customer off in the area and thought it was unusual to be waiting in traffic for so long.
“Then I saw that the Fiat Panda was blocking a part of the road, the eastbound lane heading towards Broughty Ferry.
“There was some damage to the bumper of the Vauxhall and the side of the Fiat Panda and there were around three police officers there.”
One lane was shut, causing “substantial” tailbacks.
