An online fundraising campaign to support the daughter of a Dundee woman and her partner killed in a horrific collision has smashed its target.
More than £1,500 has been raised for the Jenna Tindall Support Fund, which had an initial target of just £1,000.
More than 100 people have donated money so far.
Jenna, 29, and her 26-year-old partner Marc Edwards both died in the accident, which occurred on the outskirts of Edinburgh around 3.15 on Friday morning.
Jenna’s six-year-old daughter Abbie, was pulled from the wreckage of the vehicle by family friend Nickie Brown, who was travelling in a car following behind.
The families were driving back to Dundee from Newcastle after a week-long holiday on Lanzarote.
They had flown into Newcastle Airport and were travelling on the A68 when the collision occurred.
One other man was seriously injured in the collision.
The online fundraiser was set up by friend Siobhan Reid.
She posted: “The whole of Dundee is saddened by the loss of two absolute brilliant people.
“I would just like to help support the Tindalls and try make this as easy as possible for the family and to put away a little something for Abbie.
“I know this won’t change the tragic situation but it will show how much her mum was loved. Please donate no matter how big or small. It means the world and will be such a blessing.”
