Two teenagers were taken to hospital after being set upon by a gang of men in broad daylight in Dundee.
The victims, aged 17 and 18, both sustained injuries to their head and body as a result of the attack on Arklay Street, which happened at around 2.45pm on Sunday afternoon.
Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses to trace four men described as being 18-20 years old.
One of them is further described as of slim build with short dark hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with a white logo and grey Nike tracksuit bottoms.
One of the other men was about 6 feet tall, of slim build with short dark hair and was wearing a grey Nike zip up hooded top.
The other two males were both of slim build with short dark hair.
The victims were taken to Ninewells hospital for treatment.
