A woman allegedly received more than £11,000 of benefits that she wasn’t entitled to.
Andrea Lynn, of Bridgend Street, is accused of failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions and Dundee City Council of changes in circumstances that affected her entitlement to income support and housing benefit.
Between January 2015 and August 2016 at addresses at Dochart Terrace, Mains Drive and elsewhere, she was allegedly living with Alan Leishman and obtained £5,962.87 in income support that she wasn’t entitled to.
The 26-year-old denies obtaining housing benefit totalling £5,172.74 between February 2015 and July 2016 that she wasn’t entitled to.
After Lynn tendered pleas of not guilty, Sheriff George Way fixed a trial date of May 8 with an intermediate diet scheduled to take place on April 16.
