Calvin Foy, of Findchapel Place, is awaiting sentence after admitting assaulting a man in a city club.
Foy pleaded guilty to attacking Jalal Al-Jumaily at Club Tropicana and Vogue, South Ward Road, on Saturday by repeatedly striking him on the head and body.
The 24-year-old also admitted assaulting PC Ian Storrar by pushing him on the body and possessing cocaine.
Sentence was deferred on Foy until next Wednesday to call alongside other matters.
