A trial has been fixed for a man accused of smashing the windows of a city takeaway with a baseball bat.
Kieren McAnearney, 24, denies repeatedly striking the windows of Babu’s on Hilltown with a baseball bat, breaking them in the process, on September 24 last year.
It is alleged that McAnearney, of Ladywell Avenue, committed the offence while on bail.
After a plea of not guilty was made on his behalf, Sheriff Lorna Drummond fixed a trial for May 3 with an intermediate diet set for April 11.
