A 30-year-old man drove around busy city streets while five times the drink-drive limit.
Allar Pedak, of Gardner Street, had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to turn up at court.
Pedak previously admitted driving a car with 113mics of alcohol in 100ml of breath – more than five times the legal limit – at Kingsway West Retail Park and Clepington Road on December 11 last year.
He also previously admitted driving without insurance at the same locations on the same date.
