A trial has been set for a man accused of a series of sex attacks in a city care home.
Washington Manenji, of Tranent Grove, allegedly attacked two women at Ballumbie Court Care Home between November and December 2017.
He allegedly assaulted the first woman by massaging her knee without consent, putting his arm around her and rubbing her body, pulling her close and pretending to kiss her forehead and rubbing her shoulders between November 9-10 2017.
Between December 2-3 that year, Manenji, 44, is alleged to have seized and stroked the second woman’s arm, turned off a light in a room and groped her, put his hand on her shoulders and back and rubbed them without consent.
Manenji pleaded not guilty at an intermediate diet before Sheriff John Rafferty. He will stand trial on February 21.
