A smoothie thief was remanded after committing his sixth shoplifting offence.
Sentence was deferred on Piotr Chwastek, 31, of Main Street, until February 25 after he admitted stealing electrical equipment and a smoothie from Asda, Milton of Craigie, on Wednesday.
Solicitor Anika Jethwa said her client fell into homelessness not long after the end of his employment at a local recycling centre.
Sheriff John Rafferty remanded him in custody while reports are gathered.
