A man accused of historic sex abuse had his case continued.
Derrick Heeney, 61, denies using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards a young child and having unlawful sex with an underage girl in Mid Craigie in 1984.
Heeney, of Aulton Way, Montrose, further denies similar offences towards a girl between 1990 and 1995 in Dundee and Forfar.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael fixed a continued first diet for February 19. His bail was continued.
