Sentence for Dundee man who hit child deferred for good behaviour

Sentence was deferred on a man who admitted striking a child.

Vincent Bastianelli, of Pentland Crescent, assaulted the child by punching them on the head, at an address in the city on January 4.

The 49-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence when answering the charge.

Sheriff Alastair Brown deferred sentence on Bastianelli for reports and good behaviour until July 24.
