Sentence has been deferred on a man who admitted attacking his partner at a city nightclub.
Michael Murray, of South Victoria Dock Road, pleaded guilty to attacking Debbie Laidlaw at Rewind on Seagate on Saturday.
The court heard that Murray seized Ms Laidlaw’s head, causing her to lose her balance, and seized her by the neck and body and pushed her to the ground.
The 37-year-old, who has previous domestic convictions, appeared from custody and pleaded guilty to the offence before Sheriff Alastair Carmichael.
Sentence was deferred on Murray until February 25 for a criminal justice social work report to be prepared.
He was granted bail.
