Scott MacQueen, of Clepington Road, pleaded guilty to carrying out the assault at Duke’s Corner on Brown Street on May 5 last year. The 26-year-old attacked Mark Dolan at the city centre bar by striking him on the head with a glass. MacQueen, who was absent from court, had a guilty plea tendered on his behalf by solicitor Kevin Hampton. Sentence was deferred until February 20.
