A 33-year-old man failed to give police information to determine who was driving a car when an accident occurred.
Craig Maiden, of Haddington Avenue, was fined £1,000 and disqualified from driving for three years.
Maiden admitted that on January 1 last year he was the registered keeper of a car which was involved in an accident at 12.55am at Arbroath Road and that he refused to give any information to Chief Constable Karen Panton which would identify the driver of the car at the time of the accident.
He further admitted failing to provide two breath specimens to determine his fitness to drive, at police headquarters, on the same date.
