A thief has been jailed after he raided a supermarket for cleaning products.
Ryan Simpson, of Hilltown Terrace, stole from Tesco, on Strathmartine Road, on September 14 last year.
The 22-year-old made off with £25 worth of products which were not recovered.
Simpson, who is serving a prison sentence until May, was sentenced to 100 days in prison by Sheriff Gregor Murray to run concurrently to his existing jail term.
