Sentence was further deferred on a man convicted of making homophobic remarks.
James Stewart, of Peddie Street, was previously found guilty of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and making homophobic remarks on Alpin Road on September 2 2017.
The 25-year-old’s case was continued by Sheriff Alastair Brown until February 18 in order to obtain a restriction of liberty order assessment.
