A Dundee man was ordered to perform unpaid work for making threatening calls to his former partner.
Shaun Thain, of Dochart Terrace, admitted shouting and swearing at Christine Smith during a call on June 16 at Haldane Terrace before making threats to harm her and making threats to damage property.
The 24-year-old also behaved in a threatening or abusive manner towards her on October 8 on Duncraig Road by shouting, swearing, making threats to harm her, making threats to damage property and refusing to desist.
Solicitor John Boyle said there was animosity between the pair over an ongoing dispute. Sheriff Alastair Brown sentenced Thain to 180 hours of unpaid work.
