Gareth McLaren, of Elders Court, was searched by police on December 7 at Yeamans Lane. Officers found him to have 11.68 grams of the Class A drug on his person. Depute fiscal Isobel Vincent told the court McLaren had come to the attention of officers at approximately 3.40pm that day. Upon conducting a search they found the drug, which had a total street value of £460. McLaren admitted possessing the controlled substance.
