A Dundee man appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Christopher Walker, 37, of Mary Slessor Square, is accused of assaulting Chloe Reilly by seizing her by the hair, pulling her hair and striking her head off a wall at Dundonald Street on December 29.
He is also accused of assaulting Steven Donaldson by striking him on the body with a knife to his injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of his life, and attempting to murder him.
He is further accused of aggressive behaviour by swearing and making abusive remarks at police headquarters.
Walker made no plea in relation to any of the charges on petition. He was fully committed and remanded.
