Jonathan Mason, 41, threatened staff and members of the public at the restaurant on Reform Street on November 28 last year. Mason stood in an aggressive stance and told the female manager speaking to him: “I am going to kick you in the *****.” The threats came after other customers became annoyed by Mason’s earlier behaviour Sheriff Alistair Carmichael said: “This is a serious offence. “People were sitting in McDonald’s enjoying themselves, having a meal and you turned up and behaved in this thoroughly unpleasant manner.” Mason was sentenced to 18 months supervision and ordered to undergo alcohol treatment.
