A man has been charged with growing cannabis and bypassing an electricity meter.
Sean McDermott, of Pitalpin Court, is accused of committing the offence between December 2017 and August last year.
It is alleged that he stole electricity at the property and produced the Class B drug.
McDermott allegedly prevented a meter being used for measuring the quantity of electricity supplied by inserting a wire between the supply and load cable, thereby causing the meter to be bypassed.
The 40-year-old did not appear at Dundee Sheriff Court to answer the charges.
His case was continued without plea until January 25.
