Darren Thomson, 29, of Helmsdale Avenue, had sentence deferred until January 3. Thomson admitted assaulting Graeme Jackson, at a property on Drumlithie Place, on May 19. He committed the offence by hitting Mr Jackson on the face with a glass and attempting to punch him on the head. Sentence was deferred for reports.
