Mark Taylor, 43, will stand trial accused of assaulting a woman and two children at addresses in Kirriemuir and Forfar.
He denies attacking the woman between December 25 and 26 2011 by seizing her by the wrist.
Taylor, of Dundee, also denies seizing the head and arm of a child between January 2014 and September last year and kicking and seizing another child between April 2015 and September last year.
His trial was fixed for February 11.
