A man who admitted repeatedly shoplifting had his case dismissed by a sheriff.
Daniel Wilkinson, of Court Street North, appeared from custody to admit stealing from Asda Milton of Craigie, Asda Kirkton and Tesco on South Road between Wednesday and Friday.
But despite his guilty pleas, Sheriff Alastair Brown voiced his displeasure with the charges presented by the Crown, describing them as “irrelevant”.
Wilkinson was allowed to walk free from the dock.
