A 28-year-old man has been accused of brandishing an axe.
Terry Barr, of Thurso Gardens, will stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court on February 4.
Barr denies assaulting Ross Henderson at a property on Deveron Crescent, by entering the property uninvited, brandishing an axe, seizing Mr Henderson by his clothing, demanding money, threatening him with violence, pursuing him, striking him on the hand with an axe and robbing him of a wallet containing £50, a bank card, bus pass, council card and photographs on March 25.
He also denies having an axe in a public place, at the same location on the same date. He further denies that he swallowed white tablets from a Kinder egg while in a moving police vehicle on the same date.
